APY is a government pension scheme aimed mainly at unorganised-sector workers, offering a guaranteed monthly pension of ₹1,000 to ₹5,000 from age 60, based on your contribution amount and joining age.

Who can join APY and till what age?

Indian citizens aged 18-40 can enrol, and contributions continue until 60. Income-tax payers are not eligible to open new APY accounts under current rules-confirm eligibility before applying.
